For topical application of vitamin C, there are many options and new stable derivatives available today. Despite many new high-quality, more stable derivatives of vitamin C, its original form, L-ascorbic acid, is the most dermally effective, has the most clinical studies behind it and the most evidence of its effectiveness, it has been proven to penetrate the skin at the site of action, but it is also the most difficult to do with it a stable formulation that does not spoil because it is very unstable and formulations with it often change color to a darker yellow within a few weeks of production and develop an unpleasant smell, and the efficiency also decreases.

The innovation brought by L'ADRIA VITAMIN C RITUAL is a formula stable for 12 months after opening with proper storage at room temperature protected from direct sunlight. The innovative two-phase formulation is packed in ecological packaging made of bioplastic obtained from sugar cane. Component A contains vitamin C concentrate with 20% micronized ascorbic acid in an anhydrous base. Component B is activating and soothing, with the function of activating vitamin C to penetrate the skin. The components are applied in a ratio of one to one, and after the phases are mixed, the final concentration of vitamin C is 10%, which is a clinically proven effective dose. In order to protect the skin from the acidic effect of L-ascorbic acid and reduce the possibility of irritation, we went a step further and created the most complex L'ADRIA formulation to date. To help comes component B, which was specially created as a partner formula that is used with vitamin C concentrate. Component B contains high concentrations of powerful soothing ingredients and moisturizers: azulene that gives a blue color, madecasoside, 2% ectoine, even 10% panthenol, complex hyaluronic acid, sea lavender, soothing peptides, bisabolol, chamomile extract, melatonin, betaine and glycerin. The result of application is visibly soothed, hydrated skin that shines.

The formulation also contains lipophilic vitamin C synergists: vitamin E, coenzyme Q10 and astaxanthin from pink algae. Astaxanthin is 1000 times more effective in protecting the lipophilic components of the skin than vitamin C, whose action is limited to the watery part of the skin. By combining lipophilic and hydrophilic antioxidants, all skin compartments - water and lipid - are covered, and an overall and better effect is achieved.

The formulation is in two phases: yellow component A with vitamin C and blue component B which is activator and soothing. The components are always used together and at the same time, they must not be used separately. First, component A is applied to the palm or cheek of the finger in an amount slightly smaller than a pea, and the same amount of component B is applied next to it, making sure that the openings of the tubes do not come into contact with the other component. Mix both components with your fingers until the color changes to green and the texture changes from creamy to gel. Then massage over the entire face, making sure to avoid the area around the eyes.

Mode of use. Use in the evening. Before first use, we recommend doing a patch test. According to research, it is believed that after 3 consecutive days of application to the skin, ascorbic acid reaches a saturation concentration in the upper layers of the skin, and that 4 days after that, the concentration in the skin drops to about half. Therefore, after the initial establishment of a balanced concentration in the skin, it is not necessary to use the product daily, but it should be applied less often, in a maintenance dose, in order to avoid irritation due to the natural acidity of vitamin C.It is recommended that the Vitamin C ritual, in order to get the best benefits, is used first for 3 consecutive days in a row, in the evening, and then every 2 to 3 days again in the evening, that is, 3 to 4 times a week.Avoid long-term daily use in order to avoid irritation from too frequent use of vitamin C, which is naturally acidic, and also, for optimal penetration into the skin, it must be applied in an acidic form. During use, you must avoid the area around the eyes and use sun protection measures, per day, during the entire period of use. Sun protection measures must be used due to the natural acidity of vitamin C, which can make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Also, UV radiation degrades the vitamin C reservoir in the skin, and the use of sunscreens is recommended in order to preserve the vitamin C reservoir in the skin and achieve the best effect. The possibility of irritation due to the acidity of this form of vitamin C will greatly outweigh its positive effects on the skin. Vitamin C ritual can be combined with all L'ADRIA products, but it is recommended to avoid products with AHA/BHA/PHA acids, retinol or other aggressive products on the day of applying Vitamin C ritual in order to avoid irritation.

Recommended anti-hyperpigmentation routine with L'ADRIA products: Brightening perfecting serum 1-2 times a day in the morning or evening, Vitamin C ritual first for 3 days in a row and then every second or third day, in the evening, and Sun fluid SPF 50+ before each exposure to the sun.
